This budget reconciliation bill includes 'fixes' to many of proposals included in the Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act (SAFRA). It eliminates the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) and redirects those savings to increasing the Pell Grant. (http://www.nasfaa.org/subhomes/hcearhome.htm)

I completely support the Student Aid Reform Bill. It represents an instance of maximizing both social good and economic efficiency.
